Our baby book is designed to go through the baby's first year of life - it features catch-all pages for a letter to baby and child, ultrasound photos, pregnancy photos, hospital keepsakes, birth announcement, birthday memories, milestone keepsakes, and designated pages for footprints and handprints. Photo pages for pregnancy, baby shower, baby's first photo, at the hospital, first day home, our family, first visitors, first bath, first outing, first holiday, one to twelve months, first birthday, on the move, first steps, first haircut and four photos to label as you'd like.

Shipping + Returns

When will I receive my order? +

Sugar Paper orders are packaged and shipped within an estimated 3 to 5 business days. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or U.S. holidays.

Please allow additional time for order processing during holidays (including Black Friday week), new product launches and sales. Personalized items do ship separately from our studio and you will be updated with separate tracking information when they ship.

We strive to get every order out in a timely manner. Due to supply chain issues and our reliance on our shipping partners, you may experience shipping delays with your order. If your order does not arrive on the estimated delivery date, please know that your order is out of our hands once we trust it to our shipping partners. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.  

How much does shipping cost? +

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail for a flat rate of $5.

We offer free shipping on all domestic orders over $100 (Orders to Hawaii and Alaska do not apply).

If your order is time sensitive, we strongly encourage you to select an expedited UPS shipping method or email for further assistance.

What is your return and exchange policy? +

Sugar Paper accepts returns within 30 days of receipt given the order is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Please email us at for a return label. There is a $10 return shipping fee for returns that will be deducted from the total refund to your original form of payment. Once we receive the return, we will notify you via email and issue a refund onto the original form of payment, though shipping costs are non-refundable. Gift cards, personalized items, and any items that are marked as final sale are not eligible for return.

If you would like to make an exchange, we ask that you return the original item and place a new order. We will refund you for the returned item once it has been received.

Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment less the shipping fees. Please note that credits may take up to 10-14 business days to appear on your statement.

Order Issues

My package says it was delivered, but I have not received it. +

Often times the carrier states the order is delivered and it ends up arriving a day or two later. If your order has not arrived within a few days, please email with your 6-digit order number.

Why did I only receive part of my order? +

All personalized items ship separately from our production studio. If there is a personalized item included in your order, please note that your order will be arriving in two shipments.

How do I report a missing or damaged item from my order? +

Please email us at with your 6-digit order number and the missing or damaged item.

What is letterpress printing? +

Letterpress is the original form of printing with an impression you can see and feel in each and every character.

Do you have an order minimum for printing? +

Custom orders start at a minimum quantity of 50 with increasing increments of 25. Calling cards start at a minimum of 100 with increasing increments of 50.

I placed a custom stationery order, but I’m not sure when I’ll receive it – what will happen next? +

A digital proof will be emailed within 3 to 4 business days. The turnaround time for custom stationery is approximately 3 to 4 weeks from final proof approval plus shipping.

Can you include my business logo on custom stationery or calling cards? +

Yes, we can incorporate your logo. We need the proper vector artwork. We also need to confirm that the logo can be successfully printed using our printing methods.

I would like to setup a custom consultation, but do not live near one of your stores. Do you offer virtual consultations? +

Do you offer custom journals, planners, or other products? +

At this time, we offer custom letterpress printed items and foil-stamped monogramming on all of our fabric products which can be found here.



Where are your retail stores located? +

We have stores in California located in Brentwood (Los Angeles), Marin and Newport Beach. Our store information can be found here.

I don't live near one of your stores. Are there other stores that carry your products? +

Our products are carried in small boutiques throughout the US and internationally - we also have products at Paper Source, The Container Store, Anthropologie, and Amazon, and special collections at Target.
