Each morning at our Brentwood store, we open the door, turn on the lights, and light a candle. The candle sets the tone for the day and makes the store a happy place. For years, customers have walked in and commented on the scent, noting that the citrusy smell in the air makes the shop feel like a home - a place where people want to linger. We agree, which is why we also have a candle lit in our studio office each day, and why our go-to gift is a candle tied with a big ribbon. After a while, though, we noticed that candles we love didn't have boxes that were perfect for gifting, and beautiful boxes didn't necessarily have a candle that we wanted to burn all day long. As the story goes with many of our product ideas, when we can’t find what we want, we make it ourselves.
